With the patio stabilized, our team began by core drilling through the 6-inch concrete slab and underlying pan decking to create exact picking points for the crane. These holes were strategically placed to ensure balanced lifts and full control of each section during removal.

After the picking points were established, we used a hydro saw to divide the patio into three sections, cutting only through the slab and decking while carefully protecting the main structure. Each section was then rigged to the crane and brought under tension, ensuring stability before any structural connections were released.

Once the crane had full control of a section, our crew torch-cut the steel beams that tied the patio into the building. This precise sequencing allowed each piece to be safely separated and lowered away without putting stress on the remaining structure.
